The Finance Associate, Invoicing is responsible for executing the end-to-end billing process, including the review, validation, and invoicing of customer transactions in accordance with VB Spine policies and ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements. This role ensures that all invoices are accurate, supported by required documentation, and processed timely to enable efficient collections. The Finance Associate, Invoicing works cross-functionally with Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, and Accounts Receivable to resolve discrepancies, minimize billing delays, and improve overall billing cycle efficiency.
WhatYou’llDo:
- Review Delivered Orders (DOs), Purchase Orders (POs), and system-generated sales orders to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to invoicing
- Validate pricing against system records and escalate discrepancies to the Pricing team as needed
- Generate and process customer invoices in JD Edwards (JDE) in accordance with established procedures and Ensure all required documentation is obtained and attached prior to invoicing (e.g., DO, PO, supporting customer documentation)
- Partner with Customer Service to confirm order details, including quantities, SKUs, and pricing, are accurately reflected in the system
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, including DO vs PO mismatches, pricing variances, and missing documentation.
- Coordinate with Accounts Receivable to resolve invoice-related disputes impacting collections
- Process credit memos and rebill transactions as needed, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation are obtained
- Take ownership of reducing unbilled aging by driving timely resolution of open DOs and ensuring all required documentation is obtained to enable invoicing
- Ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner to support cash collection targets and minimize billing delays
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation to support billing transactions and audit requirements
- Comply with internal control procedures and company policies related to billing and revenue processes
- Identify and communicate process inefficiencies or recurring issues impacting billing accuracy or cycle time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, AR) to improve billing workflows and reduce errors
- Performs other related work as assigned by management
What You Bring:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, or relevant experience
- Fluent in English
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, or order-to-cash processes
- Relevant experience in common ERP’s, JDE is preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience identifying and resolving transactional discrepancies
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with qualifications and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is between $30-33/hr, withpotential forbonuses and incentivesplusbenefits.
VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation isdeterminedon acase-by-case basisand considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
