About the Role

TDO Software (a Valsoft/Fluent Software company), a leader in endodontic practice management solutions, is seeking a Customer Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our existing clients and the TDO Support team. This customer-focused role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the dental industry, particularly endodontics, and a passion for building lasting client relationships.

The Customer Account Manager will play a key role in nurturing client satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring our software and services continue to meet the evolving needs of dental practices. This individual will also represent TDO Software at trade shows, industry events, and in-office visits to strengthen partnerships and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for existing TDO clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships across multiple accounts.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand revenue within the customer base.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive customer engagement and develop future KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
  • Segment customers and assess satisfaction to identify improvement areas.
  • Regularly engage with clients through scheduled check-ins and proactive outreach.
  • Identify trends and insights across the customer base to inform strategy and improve overall satisfaction.
  • Support marketing and sales initiatives by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Account Management team.
  • Manage and remind SaaS users about conversions to professional versions.
  • Attend industry trade shows, user meetings, and endodontic conferences to promote TDO Software.
  • Document detailed records of client interactions and maintain data through an online ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and positive outcomes.
  • Drive overall customer satisfaction and contribute to improving Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience within the dental industry (endodontics preferred).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (United States and Canada).
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Ability to build advanced knowledge of TDO software and related services.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in SaaS account management or customer success roles.
  • Previous exposure to working with DSOs (Dental Support Organizations) or large dental practices.
  • Experience developing or refining SOPs for client management teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems.
