Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code: Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools for reproducible and automated deployments.
- Cloud Operations: Manage and optimize Azure services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency across environments.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless deployments and rapid iterations.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain system health and ensure proactive issue resolution.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce best practices for cloud security, access controls, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance application performance and reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Research and adopt new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance deployment efficiency and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of DevOpsor cloud engineering experience in agile environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including resource management, networking, scaling, and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform(Azure Resource Manager experience a plus).
- Strong scripting skills in languages likePowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Understanding of networking, security best practices, and infrastructure performance optimization.
