Senior Product Manager (Germany)

Our client is a prominent player in the ceramic tiles manufacturing industry, specializing in delivering high-quality products for various projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join their team.

Relocation is not required.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Strategic product development: Development and implementation of long-term product development strategies in line with the company's objectives. Setting the direction for product innovation, taking into account market trends and customer needs.
• Product portfolio management: Overall responsibility for the product portfolio, from planning to market launch and beyond. Continuously analysing and adapting the portfolio in order to remain competitive.
• Leadership and team management: Leading the product management team, including selection, training and development of staff. Promoting a collaborative team culture and ensuring high performance standards.
• Market analysis and competition monitoring: Continuous market monitoring, analysis of competitors and identification of opportunities for product improvements. Derivation of strategies to secure and expand the competitive position.
• Customer communication: Close collaboration with sales and marketing to understand customer expectations and incorporate them into product development. Development of marketing concepts in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Project management: Management of product development projects from conception to market launch. Coordination with various departments to ensure that projects run smoothly.
• Budget responsibility: managing the product management budget, monitoring expenditure and ensuring the profitability of product development projects.

Candidate Requirements

• You have a degree specialising in business administration or industrial engineering.
• You have at least 10 years of professional experience in the construction or interior environment, ideally in the tile environment.
• You can manage a team and prioritise tasks.
• You have an analytical, structured and methodical approach, excellent communication skills and organisational talent.
• Your personality is characterised by a high degree of strategic thinking coupled with a strong hands-on mentality, a high level of initiative and enthusiasm.
• You work in a structured and effective manner, even under time pressure.
• You are familiar with marketing analysis tools and data-driven decision making and are someone who keeps up to date with industry trends and new developments.
• Your profile is rounded off by a good command of written and spoken English. (+German is a big plus)
