We are building a complete personal financial service on mobile that provides;
- a 360 degree spending view across all your financial accounts (using Open banking).
- A free credit report with tips and guidance to help improve your credit score.
- Personalised financial planning using a proprietary mix of automated algorithms and manual advice.
- Intelligent lending products to help reduce cost of credit.
- Saving products that help users automate their savings.
We are looking for curious individuals with experience in consumer credit and retail banking to work with our Head of Customer, supporting customers across a broad range of needs from credit advice and how best to tackle their finances through to day to day questions.
We do not believe in silos and departments that are typically found in banks and other lenders. As part of the Customer Team you will work and be responsible across multiple disciplines. You'll interact with all members of the Updraft Team, across Product, Marketing Technology, Legal and Compliance to achieve the best possible customer outcomes.
Requirements
You will have experience of working in consumer financial services , and have a passion for delivering high quality consumer outcomes to improve the lives of millions of people.
You will also have;
- a genuine interest in helping people achieve their financial goals.
- experienced complaint handler
- confidence to chat with customers via our online channels.
- an independent and self-driven approach.
- 3+ years' experience working in consumer financial services with customers whether that be in a branch, on the telephone or online with some experience of consumer credit such as personal loans, credit cards and overdrafts.
- awareness of compliance and financial regulation.
We are a small team so it is important that to be is successful is this role, not only are you technically highly competent, but you also are a great cultural fit with a shared ambition to match the rest of the team.
You will be required to work weekends (Saturday and Sundays).
We are a remote-led company, meaning that if you want to work from home you can, but also if you want to come into our Central London office every day / once a week / sporadically, you can.
