Base Salary from $99,455 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
We are seeking an E-Learning Digital Content Designer to be part of a pioneering project harnessing telehealth to achieve Type 2 diabetes remission in regional and remote Australia. This initiative aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of telehealth consultations in delivering intensive lifestyle interventions.
As the E-Learning Digital Content Designer, you will design and implement an e-learning platform for a virtual care diabetes remission program, transforming it into an engaging and effective online experience. You will also evaluate, test and recommend the most suitable digital platform, ensuring it meets participant needs and supports the achievement of research objectives.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
design and develop a user-friendly digital platform for the virtual care diabetes remission programme, ensuring accessibility and engagement for participants of all digital literacy levels
evaluate, test and recommend the most suitable digital platform, ensuring it meets technical and functional requirements
provide advice on policies and guidelines related to digital and mobile health technology, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations
implement data collection and management processes to track participant progress, collaborating with the research team to analyse data and generate reports
provide technical support, monitor and maintain the digital platform for secure functionality, and troubleshoot any technical issues
collaborate with the research team to align the digital platform with program objectives, communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide training to participants.
About you
a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
development and technical experience with web development platforms, applications and databases, including APIs and servers (highly desirable)
experience and understanding of privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures for research data
experience working in a digital environment, using specialised programs, databases, information retrieval systems, in-house publishing software, word processing programs and website maintenance tools
proven ability to solve complex problems, analyse risks, benefits and opportunities and implement effective efficiently and creatively solutions
considerable experience as a web developer, including designing, developing, testing, documenting and deploying websites and digital applications
demonstrated ability to establish effective professional relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and delivering high-quality services in education design.
