The Opportunity:
The UTR Sports Team Tennis Manager (TTM) is a regional, outbound-facing contract role focused on managing, recruiting, and operating UTR Sports Team Tennis Leagues in your area. TTMs are tasked with building relationships within their local tennis community and driving the rapid expansion and overall success of the UTR Sports Team Tennis Leagues ecosystem on the UTR Sports platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Manage, recruit, and engage your local tennis community by leveraging your existing tennis relationships, creative marketing strategies, and targeted outreach via phone, text, email, social media, and in-person communications.
- League Management: Oversee the overall operations and management of your designated league by using the UTR Sports Team Leagues Software.
- Awareness and Interest Generation: Prior to the league's launch, focus on raising awareness, generating interest, and creating value for the community. Establish a strong presence for the UTR Sports brand through education and outreach.
- Growth and Retention: Post-launch, drive ongoing league growth by recruiting new players and retaining existing participants. Serve as the primary point of contact for all players and captains, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UTR Sports Team Tennis Specialists to implement strategic plans for player registration and continued engagement on the UTR Sports platform.
Requirements
- Experience: Active/established influential tennis figure with 1-2 years of experience coordinating or captaining team tennis leagues.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to own and complete tasks from ideation to execution to measurement.
- Marketing Proficiency: Digital/social marketing skills on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
- Networking Skills: Demonstrated ability to recruit and network within the tennis industry.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable and experienced using league software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism: High standard of execution, extreme ownership, and responsiveness. Professionalism, integrity, honesty, and the ability to confidently represent UTR Sports.
- Availability: Time commitment of 4-6 hours per week, including initial software training, recruiting team captains/players, managing the league, and serving as the direct contact for captains throughout the season.
