Brazil onlyWe are looking for a Database Engineer with strong experience in SQL Server and cloud environments (AWS) to support and evolve production database systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in high-responsibility production environments.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in database administration or database engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server in production environments
- Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies, including validation and testing
- Experience troubleshooting database performance issues (query tuning, indexing, execution plans)
- Experience supporting live production systems with minimal supervision
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including services like RDS
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience supporting or integrating with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
- Basic scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
