About the Role
Our client is seeking a junior to mid-level medical infographic designer to create an attractive and informative one-page infographic based on findings from a recent stroke conference. The infographic, titled "Huddle Helper," will serve as a visual aid to effectively and concisely communicate the nurse's valuable insights to other medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Review and understand the provided document containing the nurse's stroke conference findings.
- Design a visually appealing and easy-to-understand infographic that effectively conveys the key information and insights from the conference.
- Utilize clear and concise language, along with appropriate medical terminology and imagery, to ensure the infographic is easily comprehensible for healthcare professionals.
- Incorporate relevant data, statistics, and visual elements (e.g., charts, diagrams, icons) to enhance the infographic's impact and clarity.
- Ensure the infographic adheres to best practices in medical communication and follows any relevant guidelines or standards.
- Collaborate with the nurse to gather feedback and make revisions as necessary to ensure the infographic meets their requirements.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, layout, and typography.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Ability to translate complex medical information into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in representing medical data and terminology.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with the client (registered nurse) to understand their needs and incorporate feedback.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and concepts related to stroke is an advantage.
