About the Role

Our client, a charity organisation that uses the power of football to foster positive social change in Southern Zambian communities is seeking an experienced illustrator for a standalone project. The task involves creating child-friendly yet realistic illustrations for the story of two Zambian childhood friends who lose touch but later reconnect. The freelancer will have the flexibility to work remotely and will be needed for the better part of the week.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise and create a series of illustrations that bring the story of two Zambian childhood friends to life.
• Ensure that the illustrations are child-friendly, engaging, and visually appealing while maintaining a realistic depiction of the Zambian setting and culture.
• Work closely with the project team to understand the vision and narrative, and incorporate feedback and revisions as needed.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in product videography, testimonials, and how-to videos.
• Proficiency in operating professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
• Excellent knowledge of video editing software and post-production techniques.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, framing, and composition principles.
• Ability to capture a modern, honest, and creative style in video content.
