About the role
We’re hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to bring structure, momentum, and operational excellence to a fast-paced, high-output marketing team. Sitting at the intersection of creative, marketing, and product, this individual contributor will focus on driving the end-to-end delivery of marketing work, with a particular emphasis on creative production, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a role for someone who loves turning chaos into clarity. You’ll be the go-to operator who keeps work moving, standards high, and teams aligned, while remaining agile in an environment where priorities evolve rapidly. You will report directly to the CMO, with a dotted line to the Head of Product Operations, working closely to align marketing and product workflows and facilitate cross-team ideation.
The salary range for this role is £45k-£65k

Responsibilities

  • Creative Production & Campaign Execution (80%)

  • Own the day-to-day orchestration of creative assets and campaign delivery across:
    Marketing Design CopyBrand and Content Marketing Channels (with an immediate focus on creative asset production for paid social)Agencies as required
  • Manage licensing across assets, ensuring we have a clear process for how we obtain and maintain permissions to use and reuse content.
  • Communicate updates and manage expectations with Brand & Product Design leaders, helping them manage resources more effectively.
  • Run a smooth, high-velocity creative pipeline, with a particular focus on video and UGC formats for paid and organic channels.
  • Facilitate the delivery of campaigns across acquisition, product marketing, and brand awareness ensuring cross-functional input and stakeholder alignment.
  • Build and maintain project boards, calendars, intake processes, and tracking tools (Jira proficiency required).
  • Create structure around briefs, approvals, timelines, and dependencies and ensure accountability across contributors.
  • Confidently manage multiple work-streams and shifting priorities while holding teams to deadlines and standards.
  • Lead the delivery side of high-visibility or complex initiatives, including company-wide brand or product launches.
  • Adapt to ongoing feedback from Brand & Product design to improve processes, efficiency, or quality of output.

  • Broader Marketing Operations & Cross-Functional Alignment (20%)
  • Work closely with the Head of Product Operations to bring best-in-class roadmap planning, prioritisation, and OKR frameworks into the marketing team.
  • Help evolve how marketing collaborates with product, especially on integrated campaigns or shared initiatives.
  • Contribute to the design and roll-out of better ways of working across the marketing org, improving efficiency and visibility.
  • Facilitate marketing team workshops and coordinate special projects in the marketing function.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in creative ops, marketing ops, or programme/project management roles in a high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of how marketing creative is developed, reviewed, and deployed especially for paid social, video, UGC, organic content, PR, and integrated campaigns, including product touch points.
  • Expert-level project management and Jira fluency. You know how to keep teams moving and priorities clear.
  • Excellent communicator who can align stakeholders on prioritisation, resolve bottlenecks, and bring calm, clarity, and structure to fast-moving teams.
  • Strong operational instincts. You’re confident making recommendations, pushing back on unclear briefs or timelines, and acting as a thought partner to senior leads.
  • Cool under pressure, thrives in ambiguity, and has a bias for action and efficiency.
  • High standards for creative delivery, without micromanaging or directing the creative itself.
  • Experience working with Agile frameworks or alongside Product.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment in high-growth tech.

Founded in 2010 by Andy Peck, the TrustedHousesitters story began, inspired by a special little dog named Dave. Andy, along with a small team of three, launched the TrustedHousesitters community and website with the vision of connecting pet owners with trustworthy sitters who would care for their pets and homes in exchange for a unique travel experience. The concept was born out of a common two-sided problem: providing reliable pet care for owners and offering cost-effective travel opportunities for sitters. The business model is simple: customers pay an annual fee for membership, and after that, sits take place as a trust-based, money-free exchange. This allows owners to travel worry-free while sitters enjoy the companionship of pets and discover new places.

The platform quickly gained traction, and by 2014, TrustedHousesitters celebrated its first major milestone, reaching 10,000 members worldwide. This was just the beginning of its growth. By 2017, the company had garnered more 5-star Trustpilot reviews than any other house sitting app or website, a testament to its burgeoning community and the quality of its service. The Trusted Team doubled in size, and in 2018, the company received funding from Rockpool. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which initially caused a shock, the company saw an opportunity. Increased pet ownership during lockdown and a growing trend towards the 'humanization' of pets – where owners seek more personal and loving care for their animals – created strong tailwinds for the business. In 2021, TrustedHousesitters secured $10 million in Series A funding, further fueling its expansion, particularly into the US market. By 2023, the community had grown to 200,000 members. That same year, Mayfair Equity Partners backed a management buyout of the company, valuing the business at over $100 million. In a move to recognize the contributions of its team, all full-time, UK-based employees were invited to become shareholders. The following year, in 2024, TrustedHousesitters launched its first-ever Impact Report and achieved B Corp Certification, underscoring its commitment to social and environmental performance. Today, TrustedHousesitters continues its mission to be the world's most-loved travel solution for pet people, with a rapidly growing community and a dedicated team.
