DDN is seeking a Sr. Designated Support Engineer to deliver premium customer support for their AI data storage solutions. This role requires a technically sound individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in a similar technical role supporting production environments
- Experience supporting solutions post-sale
- Demonstrable understanding of storage system data protection mechanisms
- Strong knowledge of Linux and high-speed networking
- Excellent customer interfacing skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- 7+ years of experience working with S3-compliant object storage or similar technologies
- 7+ years of experience working with Linux, TCP/IP, and Infiniband-based high speed networking
- 7+ years of experience working with a multi-protocol storage system (Block, Parallel POSIX, S3, CEPH, etc) (Preferred)
- Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies (Preferred)
- Experience developing administrative scripts in Python, Perl, Bash, or similar language (Preferred)
- Experience working with file transfer (e.g., SFTP, RSYNC, FTP) and NAS protocols (NFS, CIFS) (Preferred)
- Experience with authentication protocols (LDAP, OAuth2/OIDC, Kerberos, SAML) (Preferred)
- Experience working with network discovery and diagnostic tools (e.g. LLDP, tcpdump, Wireshark) (Preferred)
