Tillman FiberCo is building a 100% fiber network to support the next generation of broadband services. Tillman FiberCo is a portfolio company of Tillman Global Holdings, a holding company focused on building premier digital infrastructure businesses globally. We have an incredible opportunity for a Lead Solution Engineer.

Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Development: Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions using Sitetracker, including hands-on coding and system design. Involved in all aspects of enterprise software development, working closely with the development team and other teams as part of Agile-run projects to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Proficiency in Sitetracker: Experience with Sitetracker software, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Salesforce Development: Knowledge of Salesforce development, including Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
  • Collaborate with teammates and Cross-functional Groups: Ensure project milestones are met, drive planning and execution on development applications across the Tillman Fiber organization, and work closely with other development leaders and managers to manage partnerships and ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Requirement Gathering & Business Analysis: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology.
  • Project Management & Delivery Oversight: Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation. Oversee team deliveries, manage risks, dependencies, and critical paths. Coordinate tasks across diverse internal and external teams, spanning multiple locations, time zones, and cultures.
  • Agile Leadership & Operational Improvement: Lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and enhance Agile development practices within the team. Assess current practices, incorporate new strategies, and increase predictability to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Interaction & Process Improvement: Consult with stakeholders to understand their challenges and present solutions that align with their business objectives. Initiate or implement development process improvements to achieve efficiencies and act as a change agent for process improvements.
  • Capacity Planning & Reporting: Monitor and adjust capacity plans effectively. Report progress and status through email or face-to-face with leads/managers.
Requirements
  • 4+ years Salesforce Developer experience, with Apex and Lightning.
  • 2+ years in a Scrum / Agile software development environment.
  • 2+ years Sitetracker experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Sitetracker and integrated systems.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in software development and coding.
  • Ability to plan and execute change through a formalized change management process.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent domain
