Project Manager - Data Analytics

Tiger Analytics is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex data-focused initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise-level data projects, collaborating across all levels of the organization, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget. This role requires strong technical understanding of data environments and proven expertise in both traditional project management and Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Management experience, including 3+ years in data project delivery.
• Strong understanding of data lifecycle, ETL, data governance, visualization, and data quality concepts.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or large enterprise environments.
• Exposure to data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and project financial tracking.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver complex data-focused projects from planning to implementation.
• Develop project plans, define milestones, identify critical path activities, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage end-to-end SDLC activities with focus on scope, timeline, and budget adherence.
• Oversee ETL processes, ESL usage, data governance, data visualization, and data quality initiatives.
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues.
• Drive issue resolution through structured action planning and stakeholder alignment.
• Execute projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) while maintaining traditional PM constraints.
• Use MS Project, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps (ADO) for planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Manage project financials including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and vendor invoices.
• Track and resolve financial variances, ensuring accurate spend and accrual management.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and financial status across all organizational levels.
