Remote AI Specialist for Immigration Automation

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, A.P.C. is seeking an experienced and innovative AI Specialist to lead the development and implementation of intelligent automation solutions for our immigration processes. This role will be responsible for designing, training, and deploying AI agents that support and streamline tasks such as visa tracking, document management, compliance monitoring, and client communications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a focus on automating legal or regulatory workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents to support various stages of the immigration process.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to identify automation opportunities in immigration workflows.
• Integrate AI systems with existing platforms such as case management tools, document repositories, and client portals.
• Develop and maintain intelligent chatbots for client-facing interactions (e.g., status updates, document requests).
• Apply machine learning and NLP models for document classification, data extraction, and compliance verification.
• Ensure that AI solutions comply with all data privacy, ethical, and legal standards.
• Monitor and fine-tune models to improve performance and accuracy over time.
• Maintain detailed documentation for architecture, training data, and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably in a legal, immigration, or compliance-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, Hugging Face).
• Experience with building and managing NLP models and chatbots.
• Familiarity with immigration workflows, documents, and regulatory compliance is highly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
• Knowledge of cloud-based AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with legal tech platforms and APIs (e.g., INSZoom, LawLogix, or similar).
