The Competitive Unit Cost Advisor analyzes competitive unit cost information, validates internal information, and develops actions to improve Cigna's competitive unit cost position. Partners with peers and management to accurately understand and represent Cigna's competitive unit cost position by area and product. Supports the generation of actionable reports to assist Contracting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years Medical Cost Analysis experience within a managed healthcare experience environment required
- 4+ years Financial analysis experience in managed care required
- Ability to analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative ambiguous provider data required
- Advanced excel skills required
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with demonstrated ability to influence internal and external resources.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience working in an empowered team environment.
