Position Summary Career Certified is seeking a motivated and curious student passionate about DevSecOps. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world projects that impact internal operations and external customers. You’ll apply classroom learning to practical challenges, gain exposure to industry tools, and build a professional network.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research and analysis of our infrastructure security posture
- Assist with security audits and report generation
- Assist with security remediation from audit findings
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Complete assigned tasks and deliverables within deadlines
Tools & Platforms
- Microsoft Office Suite
• AWS
- Prowler and other security audit tools/platforms as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program or within one year post-graduation
- Strong interest in AI/Cyber Security
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with AWS/Cloud computing
- Basic understanding of cyber security
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

What to Expect:
- Week 1: Onboarding, setup, goal-setting with your manager, and team introductions
- Weeks 2-3: Daily check-ins to ensure you're adjusting well and have the support you need
- Throughout Program: Weekly 1:1s with your manager for coaching, feedback, and milestone tracking
- Final Weeks: Performance review, support building your Internship Report, and leadership presentation
