Field Deployment Manager
About Us
At Teton, we are redefining the role of healthcare workers through cutting-edge AI technology. In the face of a global nursing shortage, our solutions provide vital support to overburdened health systems.
With thousands of residents and patient rooms across 4 countries and 2 continents already benefiting from our technology, the US is our fastest-growing market—and getting devices into facilities quickly and reliably is what unlocks the next stage of growth. If you are not ready to work more than 9-5 this isn't for you.
The Role
We're hiring a US-based Field Deployment Manager to own the rollout of Teton's hardware into senior care and healthcare facilities across the country. Once a customer signs, you're the person who makes sure devices get installed, networked, and online—as fast and as smoothly as possible.
Our setup is a compute box with multiple sensors cabled to it, deployed on customer networks inside customer buildings, alongside customer IT teams and third-party installers. Bringing it live means planning the rollout, coordinating everyone on site, and knowing enough about cabling, networking, and our system to keep things moving when something breaks.
You'll sit between our hardware and engineering teams and the customer experience side, owning the handoff from signed deal to fully operational deployment. After go-live, you'll keep an eye on device health, investigate uptime issues, and ensure clean handoff to the customer's ongoing IT support. Expect significant travel.
Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end deployment of Teton devices into US customer facilities

  • Plan and project-manage larger multi-site rollouts, coordinating timelines across internal teams, customers, and third-party installers

  • Coordinate with site maintenance, installers, and customer IT to schedule and execute installs

  • Configure, cable, and validate compute boxes and connected sensors on customer networks

  • Monitor device uptime across deployments, investigate issues, and drive resolution

  • Hand off operational deployments to ongoing IT support cleanly and with documentation

What We're Looking For

Must-have

  • Hands-on experience deploying hardware or IoT into customer environments, including cabling compute and sensor setups

  • Solid understanding of IT networking and comfort working alongside customer IT teams

  • Project management skills: able to plan multi-site rollouts and keep installers, customers, and internal teams aligned

  • Customer-first mindset—you find satisfaction in making customers successful

  • Comfortable with Linux and basic command-line troubleshooting

  • Strong coordination and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience managing third-party installation vendors

  • Willing to travel frequently across the US

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in healthcare, senior care, or regulated environments

Location
US-based, with significant travel to customer sites across the country.
What We Offer

  • Participation in our warrant program (stock options)

  • Work with state-of-the-art technology in a pioneering field

  • A role with direct impact on how healthcare gets delivered

We are Teton.ai, and we embarked on our journey in 2020 with a clear mission: to support the nurses and caregivers who form the backbone of our healthcare system. Recognizing the immense pressure they face due to a global staffing shortage and ever-increasing workloads, we decided to harness the power of artificial intelligence and computer vision. Our goal is to create an AI companion for nurses, a system that helps monitor patients effectively and optimize critical workflows. [2, 3] We believe that by automating routine tasks and providing real-time, actionable insights, our technology can significantly transform the healthcare landscape. This allows dedicated healthcare professionals to redirect their invaluable time and energy towards what truly matters – delivering high-quality, compassionate care to every single patient.

Our approach involves installing smart cameras and sensors in hospital rooms and care facilities. These devices utilize advanced computer vision to scan for patient activity and updates, feeding this information into a web application that alerts nurses when their attention is required. [3, 9, 12] This isn't about replacing the human touch; it's about augmenting it, providing an extra set of eyes and ears so nurses can focus on delivering the best possible care. We've trained our AI using extensive hospital datasets and invaluable feedback from nurses themselves to ensure it provides the right support in high-pressure clinical environments. Privacy is paramount in our design; all analysis occurs within a closed system, and no personal data is uploaded to central servers, ensuring patient confidentiality. [2, 13] Early trials in Denmark have been promising, indicating a potential reduction in night shift workload by as much as 25%, giving nurses more control and more time for their patients. [2, 3] We're passionate about making a tangible difference, and we're just getting started. We see so many opportunities to further assist care staff and believe we've only scratched the surface of what's possible with this technology. We are committed to solving problems that matter by shipping products that work, today, because the stakes in healthcare are incredibly real.
