Platform Manager (Spain Only)

We are looking for a Platform Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team in a high-tech SaaS environment. The main mission will be to manage, develop, and coordinate the team, establishing priorities and ensuring efficient, sustainable, and resilient operation.

Requirements

• Lead and develop the Platform Engineering team: Coordinate priorities, provide mentorship, and ensure team growth.
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of technical initiatives related to the platform, ensuring quality, deadline compliance, and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure the evolution, stability, scalability, and security of the cloud platform on Azure, including Kubernetes (AKS), infrastructure as code, and observability services.
• Manage and coordinate an effective on-call program, ensuring team preparation, proper incident management, and prevention of future problems.
• Oversee the design and implementation of multi-region, multi-tenant, and high-availability solutions for the SaaS environment.
• Closely collaborate with the Development teams, improving development experiences, efficient deployment flows, and offering self-service platforms.
• Maintain reliable and accessible metrics on team and platform performance, ensuring a clear view of operational and technical status.
• Promote a culture of solid documentation, ownership, transparency, and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with security and compliance standards, including ISO 27001, SOC2, or other relevant frameworks, ensuring adequate controls and the adoption of secure practices throughout the platform lifecycle.
• Drive the adoption of good architecture practices, DevOps/DevSecOps, reliability, FinOps, and automation throughout the organization.
