TechnipFMC's story is one of strategic convergence, a tale of two industry titans joining forces to redefine the energy landscape. The journey began with the 2017 merger of FMC Technologies, an American subsea technology powerhouse, and Technip, a French engineering and construction giant. This union was not merely a business transaction; it was the creation of a new entity poised to tackle the world's most complex and demanding energy projects. FMC Technologies brought with it a rich history of innovation in subsea systems, while Technip contributed its extensive expertise in project management and engineering for the onshore and offshore sectors. Together, they formed a fully integrated provider, capable of delivering end-to-end solutions from the seabed to the surface.

From its inception, TechnipFMC established itself as a global leader, with a clear vision to enhance the performance of the world's energy industry. The company's integrated approach, known as iEPCI™ (integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation), revolutionized project economics for its clients, streamlining processes and accelerating time to production. This innovative model, combined with a relentless focus on technology and digitalization, has enabled TechnipFMC to unlock new possibilities in both traditional and new energy sectors. The company's narrative is also one of adaptation and evolution. In 2021, TechnipFMC spun off its onshore/offshore and new energies engineering and construction business into a separate entity, Technip Energies. This strategic move allowed TechnipFMC to sharpen its focus on its core strengths in subsea and surface technologies, positioning itself as a key enabler of the energy transition. Today, with a global workforce and a presence in key energy hubs around the world, TechnipFMC continues to write its story, one of groundbreaking projects, technological advancements, and a steadfast commitment to a sustainable energy future.
