  • designing and implementing robust and innovative gameplay solutions for our titles,
  • taking ownership of major gameplay features,
  • managing a team of highly skilled game programmers,
  • mentoring and motivating team members, delivering detailed code reviews,
  • writing clean, robust, reusable code and create all necessary technical documentation,
  • providing time estimates and task breakdowns,
  • helping the team to meet all necessary requirements (functionality, scope, performance etc.),
  • cooperating closely with other departments (design, animation, etc),
  • constantly identifying areas for improvement and driving all changes that are required.
  • experience in developing, implementing and maintaining large gameplay systems/mechanics for AAA titles,
  • excellent knowledge of C++,
  • familiarity with C++ Standard Library and version control systems,
  • cross-platform experience,
  • experience in leading and mentoring development teams,
  • experience with code reviews,
  • authentic passion for games as well as knowledge of the latest titles and trends, especially in FPP games,
  • understanding of rules and problems connected with playability in FPP/TPP games,
  • excellent organization and time management skills,
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • very good command of English.

We are Techland, and for over 30 years, we've been crafting unforgettable experiences for gamers worldwide. Founded in 1991 by Paweł Marchewka, we started as a software distribution company in Poland. Initially, our focus was on translating foreign programs and publishing them for the Polish market. By 1993, we began developing our own software, including dictionaries, translators, and eventually, computer games. Our first in-house developed game, Prawo Krwi, was created in 1995. We officially stepped into the world of game development with the release of Crime Cities in 2000, which garnered an 81% rating from IGN.

We are the minds behind the Call of Juarez series, which made history in 2006 as the first game to implement DirectX 10 features, thanks to our proprietary engine. We also brought the world of Dead Island to life in 2011, with an announcement trailer that captivated millions and even won a Gold Medal at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Perhaps one of our most recognized achievements is the Dying Light franchise. Released in 2015, Dying Light quickly topped sales charts and is still hailed by millions as one of the best zombie games ever. We continued to expand this universe with Dying Light: The Following in 2016 and our most ambitious title yet, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, in 2022. This open-world game, set in a climatic Modern Dark Ages, has achieved a 'Mostly Positive' status on Steam with tens of thousands of reviews. We are committed to our community and guarantee to expand the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human for at least five years post-launch with new stories, locations, and in-game events. Our international team of over 500 highly-skilled professionals, headquartered in Wrocław, Poland, with offices in Warsaw, is driven by a passion for gaming and a constant pursuit of quality and innovation. We pride ourselves on pushing creative boundaries and exploring every corner of the creative realm to be pioneers in design, technology, and business. We are also working on an unannounced AAA Open World Action RPG set in a brand new fantasy universe, which is set to be our biggest project to date.
