We are looking for a Credentialing Associate to join our Credentialing team, reporting to our Credentialing Manager. This new team member will support the existing team by receiving and processing incoming applications, completing credentialing review, and processing credentialing for the Talkspace provider network. We are looking for someone who has current experience in credentialing and wants to bring their talents into a “for purpose” space. *This is a remote Hourly, Non Exempt position based on Eastern Time. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC*
What You'll Do
Credentialing
- Perform all daily credentialing functions as needed, such as checking provider CAQH status and processing completed provider files
- Coordinate with Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) to ensure timely completion of the credentialing review
- Conduct weekly follow-up review of provider status and communicating status updates to CVO or incomplete status to provider
- Correspond with providers for missing data elements such as NPI numbers and/or CAQH profile information
- Correspond with providers to advise on their status via Zendesk
- Ensure accurate storage record of provider files
- Document all credentialing correspondence with provider and/or CVO in the Fountain system
Recredentialing
- Ensure timely re-credentialing of the credentialed provider network by performing weekly follow-up review of provider CAQH status and communicating status to CVO when complete or the provider when incomplete
- Coordinate with CVO to ensure timely completion of re-credentialing review for each clinician
Licensing
- Assist as needed with the review of credentialed licenses to ensure accuracy of license number and expiration dates
- Manage new provider/applicant license data to ensure the license number, issue and expirations dates are accurate
- Manage license data listed as “null” in the system to ensure the license number, issue and expirations dates are included and accurate
Auditing
- Assist with quarterly internal audits including external CVO audits and Payer audits to ensure efficiency and accuracy within the Credentialing Program utilizing audit tools
Perform additional duties as assigned
About You
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Previous credentialing experience preferred
- You are excited to take on new challenges
- You are organized, detail oriented and are able to manage multiple projects and priorities
- You are a constant learner and are open to learning new platforms and systems
- You thrive both independently and in a cross-collaborative environment

Compensation
At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.
The compensation rate for this role is $23 hourly. Within the compensation bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
