United States onlyPosition Summary:Swiftly is searching for a web engineer who will focus on front-end development. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project delivery and actively participate in the development lifecycle. Successful candidates will contribute to the creation of reusable components in alignment with design specifications and implement comprehensive unit tests for logical components.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with team members to deliver projects
- Liaise with backend service colleagues to integrate APIs seamlessly into front-end components
- Work with designs to create reusable and shareable components
- Strategize bandwidth optimization techniques for scalable solutions
- Connect API’s to the components
- Create tests around logical components
- Help raise concerns where reasonable
- Review and Author Pull Requests
- Other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of JavaScript
- 5 years of CSS 3.0+
- 5 years of HTML
- Experience delivering customer facing products
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Typescript
- 5+ years of React
- 3+ years of a framework such as Remix, Next.js, Angular
- Experience with serverless lambdas
- Experience with SSR, ISR
- Experience with security
- Experience with Storybook
- Experience with Unit Testing (examples include Jest, Cypress)
- Experience with REST and GraphQL
- Experience with ADA
- Understand bandwidth costs
