Master

Svitzer invites skilled and experienced Mozambique national Masters to express their interest in future opportunities within our Mozambique operations. By joining our talent pool, you will be considered for upcoming roles within the Mozambique crew pool as they arise. The role works on a 3 months on / 1.5 months off rotational schedule, living onboard.

Requirements

• Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2)
• Proven experience in harbour towage operations including ASD propulsion handling
• Strong knowledge of safe navigation, vessel handling, and marine operations on towing vessels of 3000 KW or above
• Solid understanding of maritime safety practices, risk assessment, reporting requirements, vessel documentation and planned maintenance systems
• Experience engaging with port authorities, agents and customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Mozambique nationality (mandatory requirement)
