About Sun River Health
Sun River Health was founded in 1975 when four African American mothers spearheaded efforts to open our first health center in Peekskill, New York, with the promise of delivering high-quality, affordable health care to all. Today, after 50 years of service, Sun River Health is still delivering on that promise as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system with 50 locations, serving more than 250,000 patients throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island.
Sun River Health guarantees high-quality, complete health care for every person who comes to us. No matter your insurance status or your ability to pay, you receive care at Sun River Health. We accept most private and public health insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Child Health Plus. For patients without insurance, we set up comfortable payment plans to ensure everyone has access to the care they need.
