SFI is searching for a SharePoint Administrator to join our team to support a stable multi-year client program. This is a full-time position (with benefits) and is fully funded. The SharePoint Admin will provide SharePoint support to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of user generated apps and content for our federal customers. The SharePoint Admin will perform various tasks related to the setup, configuration, maintenance, and management of SharePoint online environments. The SharePoint Administrator will work with government and team members in a Scale Agile Framework environment (SAFe).
This role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
The SharePoint Administrator responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Bug fixing and maintenance for SharePoint 2016 and provide Technical Support to end-users and resolve day-to-day issues.
- Lead the migration of SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint online migration using Sharegate.
- Use Central Administration and Windows PowerShell to administer SharePoint service applications, services, permissions, and features; implement, maintain SharePoint Server farm architectures to support intranet, extranet, development, and test environment deployments.
- Mentor junior staff in the team and create KB and SOP’s to stream line administrative tasks.
- Help with identifying and solutioning legacy InfoPath Solution into modern Power Platform. Provide support to internal team members and Federal Project managers.
- Experience in ADFS – crating claims issuance policy, Relying Party trust, urn, adding pass through claims and creating users in domain.
- Lead with integrating SharePoint Online with 3 rd part SaaS platforms.
- Experience in claims authentication, STS token issuer identity – add/remove incoming and outgoing claims, OIDC authentication.
- Experience in backing up site collections and export, import of sites. And assigning permissions on site collection sites, lists, libraries.
- Experience in creating site collections, modifications or activating features and deleting sites AWS console management & support for SharePoint servers
- Windows and SharePoint patching & support
- Deploy and troubleshoot issues in SPO environments.
- SPO - Sites creation, AvePoint governance and SPO administration.
- Generate reports for SPO usage and metrics as required by business using SP PNP.
- Export content for the applications moved to other tools, expose SharePoint data to downstream system via Microsoft graph API.
- BS or BA in CS, CIS, EE, Math or equivalent technical studies
- 8 years overall IT experience
- 4 years of experience in Administrating SharePoint online.
- Experience migrating SP 2016 to SharePoint Online
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Certified in Microsoft - Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server
- Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
- MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator

Other Information
- The salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually
- SFI maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations.
