Role SUMMARY

Sortly, celebrated for its simplicity and ease of use, is looking for a Software Engineer 2 - Frontend with a passion for developing user-focused solutions. Take on advanced frontend development tasks, write robust and maintainable code, and collaborate closely with UX and PM teams. Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies to continuously enhance our product's performance and usability.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and deliver awesome frontend product experience for our customers
• Write clear, readable and testable code
• Work with UX and PM teams to iterate and deliver the frontend experience balancing functionality, performance and usability
• Do code reviews, participate in architecture discussions
• Evaluate and adopt technologies that improve developer productivity, code simplicity and new functionality

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in React/Angular/Vue or any similar modern frameworks
• Experience with Typescript is a plus
• Experience in working with APIs & relevant middleware to access them
• Ability to effectively debug issues to identify and address root causes with a focus on performance
• Demonstrated rigor in following and advocating for the best engineering practices
