About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer (JavaScript + Python) to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically strong and communicative engineer who can take anactive role in hiring and evaluating talent, conducting technical interviews and assessments to help grow a high-performing development team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical interviews and technical assessments to identify and evaluate top engineering talent.
- Design, build, and maintain full stack applications using Node.js, Express, React/Vue/Next.js, and Python.
- Develop responsive and visually consistent UIs with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Design and optimise data models using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests to ensure product reliability.
- Lead projects from initial architecture to final deployment, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, user-centric solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js, Express) and Python for backend and API development.
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Next.js).
- Proven ability to build responsive UIs using HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimisation.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests.
- Demonstrated capability to lead engineering teams and deliver projects from concept to production.
- Strong communication skills with experience conducting technical interviews and assessments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Cloud platforms.
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies or data-driven applications.
