Introduction to the Role:
We are looking for a Digital Lead Engineer to lead and coordinate the deployment and adoption of digital tools and systems in an industrial environment.
In this role, you will act as a bridge between business users, technical teams, and site operations — ensuring smooth implementation, strong user adoption, proper documentation, and compliance with digital security standards.
What you'll do?
- Coordinate deployment and adoption of digital/IT tools and systems
- Act as an interface between business users, IT/network teams, and technical stakeholders
- Support system rollouts, user onboarding, and ongoing operational activities
- Track usage, adoption metrics, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Prepare, review, and manage technical documentation (drawings, work packs, FAT/SAT, handover packages)
- Support change management and ticketing processes (MoC, eMOC, ITSM tools)
- Ensure compliance with digital security and cybersecurity practices
- Participate in site visits, including remote and offshore locations when required

Must to have
Hard skills:
- Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Hands-on experience in digital/IT tools deployment, coordination, or support
- Practical knowledge of IP networking (VLANs, routing, switching, IP addressing, troubleshooting)
- Experience with engineering documentation (drawings, work packs, FAT/SAT, handover documentation)
- Basic to working knowledge of digital security / cybersecurity principles
- Availability for site visits, remote locations, and offshore mobilisation
Soft skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ownership mindset and ability to drive tasks to completion
Nice to have
Hard skills:
- Experience with enterprise tools (SAP, Maximo, ServiceNow, CMMS, ITSM)
- Experience with Power BI, dashboards, and reporting
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, document management)
- Experience in oil & gas or industrial environments
- Experience in site deployment, commissioning, or system handover to operations
- Familiarity with change management processes (MoC, eMOC)
- Basic knowledge of telecom systems (CCTV, radio/TETRA, IP telephony, fibre optics)
Soft skills:
