About the Role
We're on a mission to build world-class AI-driven products — serving tens of millions of users and redefining the future of intelligent infrastructure. We're looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, resilient systems that empower engineering teams to deliver value continuously.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping our cloud infrastructure, enhancing operational excellence, and enabling development teams to ship with confidence. This role blends hands-on technical work with strategic influence over how we build, deploy, monitor, and scale core platform services.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to provide infrastructure support and operational excellence.
- Manage, monitor, and scale existing services to ensure high availability and performance.
- Provision infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a strong focus on quality, security, and automation.
- Participate in and influence architectural decisions, tooling, and best practices across CI/CD, observability, and deployment workflows.
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve the reliability, latency, and scalability of our cloud environments.
- Bring new ideas and experiment with cutting-edge tooling and approaches to accelerate delivery flows.
Who You Are
We're seeking someone with a strong blend of technical depth, practical experience, and an ownership mentality:
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Demonstrated expertise with public cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitOps workflows, and IaC tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Strong observability skills (logs, metrics, tracing) and experience in instrumenting production systems.
- Ability to read and understand application code (e.g., Go, Python, shell) — and collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Fluent English communication skills and a collaborative, feedback-driven mindset.
Nice-to-Have
- Background in NLP/ML deployment, GenAI, or associated MLOps workflows.
- Experience working across time zones (±4 CET overlap preferred).
What We Offer
- Fully Remote — work from wherever you do your best thinking.
- Flexible Contracting — B2B or alternative arrangements considered based on candidate fit.
- Generous Time Off — 4 weeks (20 working days) of paid leave per year.
- Annual Team Gathering — connect in person, collaborate, and celebrate.
- Health & Wellness Support — up to $200/year for wellbeing, plus unlimited 1:1 sessions with professionals.
- Workspace Budget — co-working and home setup support.
- Learning Budget — funding for courses, books, conferences, and continuous growth.
- AI Tools Access — premium access to industry-leading platforms to accelerate your workflow.
Why This Role Matters
This is not just about keeping the lights on — it's about building a foundation that enables world-class engineering, reliability at scale, and sustainable innovation. You'll work alongside passionate engineers, cross-functional teams, and leaders who push boundaries — while having real autonomy to shape how we operate and deliver impact.
