Simple Machines is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support their UK-based clients and contribute to their global expansion. The role involves leading a team of engineers, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, deploying infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring system reliability. Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Team leadership experience (size 5+, mid-level to senior engineers)
  • Proven DevOps Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering experience
  • Expertise with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
  • Solid background in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of deployment strategies (canary, blue-green, rollback)
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving and automation skills
