- You will be a Product Manager for the team, documenting and prioritizing feature requirements
- You will enthusiastically engage with subscribers – directly and indirectly using various data sources and research – to understand their challenges and to help them utilize our products in ways that help them deliver outstanding IT services to their customers
- You will help define the solution assets relating to the “jobs to be done”, ranging from tactical security configurations to guided workflows that help teach and standardize the security management function
- Work with other product owners to document requirements through epics, features, user stories and defects, and advocate for them into the product backlog
- Help the product team to prioritize usability improvements, the bug backlog, and the need for new features that can improve overall product adoption
- Help the team coordinate the backlog across multiple engineering teams to maximize market impact
- Engage with engineering team(s) to drive delivery and quality, including the participation in Agile ceremonies, authoring/refining user stories and defects, and documenting acceptance criteria
- Work directly or with our technical writing and marketing teams to create documentation, marketing content and go-to-market deliverables that aid team goals. This can include functional help guides for end users
- Work with Design and other PMs to craft and implement in-product user engagement experiences, including product tours, new feature highlights, learning aids, and such
- Work with the Services team(s) to help drive customer success initiatives including internal and external product training, multi-channel user engagement tools, and feedback mechanisms that help improve our products
- Work with our design team to create great user experiences, including ancillary tools that work with the product to engage users, track usage, record user sessions, etc.
- You have at least a basic understanding of the IT services, Managed Service Provider (MSP) and/or Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) market and the role they play administering cloud application environments, including security management
- You will understand the IT security domain, having hands-on cloud security product management, product support, and/or implementation support experience
- You will have 5+ years of general software product management experience, gathering and documenting requirements, building and managing a product backlog through Epic, Feature, User Story, and Defect writing, and driving development of these work items using Agile methodologies
- 2+ years of experience writing help documentation for end users that aid in their understanding of the software and how to operate its features
- 2+ years of experience with in-product user engagement tools like Intercom, Pendo and others to help enable product-lead experiences, tours, new feature enouncements, and such. Also key to this experience is using the tools’ features for measuring user engagement and feature adoption.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage prospects and subscribers in requirements discovery, document and confirm requirements, and translate those requirements for software engineers and quality assurance team members
- You will have excellent time management and project leadership skills, working with distributed teams across time zones
- Technical knowledge in the security, cloud software development, and PowerShell domains a plus

ConnectWise’s platform of Managed Service Provider-enabling applications are at the core of our company. Our Product Team serves the IT Security and IT services (MSP/MSSP) market, and the SMB customers they serve. We build Microsoft 365-centric SaaS Security and CASB software designed to support the lifecycle of each customer, ranging from the acquisition of SMB companies based upon the competency our subscribers show in assessing and managing IT security, to the configuration and protection of their customers’ SaaS applications and cloud-hosted data, to regularly demonstrating their value with responsive security support and periodic security reviews.
