Playable Developer

Description

Sett is looking for a Playable Developer with an AI orientation to join our out-of-this-world adventure.

If you’re passionate about building playables, love rapid prototyping, and AI genuinely excites you, this role is for you!

You’ll work at the intersection of web, gaming, and AI - helping turn prompts into high-quality playables through cutting-edge generative pipelines that you’ll help improve, and pushing them toward more control, more variety, and more “game feel.”

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to combine ideas and technologies into richer, more diverse playables.
• Design, build, and improve our AI-driven generation systems to expand their creative boundaries.
• Test, evaluate, and interpret generative outputs to guide product improvements and inform new ideas.
• Prototype and iterate quickly to explore new directions in AI-generated gameplay.
• Identify, analyze, and solve complex challenges, while designing scalable solutions that prevent future ones.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game development - a must
• 2+ years of experience with web technologies (HTML5, TypeScript/JavaScript, etc.) - a must
• 2+ years of hands-on experience creating playables or interactive games without using traditional game engines - a must
• Experience or strong interest in LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted creation tools.
• A builder’s mindset - loves to experiment, fail fast, learn, and iterate.
• Systemic thinking - able to see both the big picture and the path to solving complex challenges step by step.
• Passionate about innovation, learning, and pushing the limits of what AI can create.
• Self-driven and collaborative, comfortable working across research and engineering domains.
