We are currently searching for a Functional Test Lead:

Responsibilities

• Define and generate functional testing strategies tailored to complex financial systems.
• Lead the analysis and design of test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of business requirements.
• Oversee test execution and provide effective defect management (findings management) until resolution.
• Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation plans to ensure delivery timelines.
• Execute automated test scripts and collaborate with automation teams to enhance testing efficiency.
• Perform data validation using specialized tools for file analysis and database verification.
• Collaborate in Agile environments, ensuring testing standards are met within sprint cycles.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in testing, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead role.
• Strong expertise in functional testing, including White Box and Black Box methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of Financial Markets operations (Equities, Money Markets, Investment Funds, Derivatives).
• Intermediate proficiency in JIRA and XRay for test management.
• Basic programming knowledge and experience with Database management (SQL).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities through self-management.

Desired:

• ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced Level).
• Experience in Test Automation and Non-Functional Testing (Performance, Security).

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
