We are currently searching for a Application support- (- on premise migration experience):
Responsibilities:
- Validate end-user functionality on virtual desktops (NDS.Next), ensuring the M365 suite and internal business applications operate correctly post-migration.
- Perform rigorous application testing, including defect reproduction and regression testing, before and after the transition from on-premises to the Azure cloud.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Windows, specific software applications, and desktop environment configurations.
- Manage issues routed by the helpdesk, taking ownership of complex problems to drive closure.
- Write clear technical notes and user updates, effectively managing stakeholder expectations throughout the migration process.
- Provide structured reporting on assigned workloads, specifically identifying status, potential risks, and project blockers.
- Ensure stable connectivity and access by managing Azure components like login permissions, networking, and storage.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Azure and On-premises migrations, specifically moving Virtual Desktops (VD) to the cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Windows applications and desktop environment troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Azure components, including Identity/Permissions (login), Networking, and Storage.
- Solid background in Application Testing and regression workflows.
- Excellent communication skills to manage user expectations and technical documentation.
Desired:
- Prior experience in a dedicated IT Support/Service Desk role.
- Experience with M365 suite deployment and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with internal app store deployment and line-of-business (LOB) tools.
Languages:
- Advanced Oral English.
- Advanced Spanish.
