CA and US onlySeqera exists to advance science for everyone through software. We're looking for a Bioinformatics Support Engineer to join our Customer Experience team at Seqera. As a Bioinformatics Support Engineer, you'll become a trusted technical partner to researchers working on some of the most pressing problems in health and life sciences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Nextflow and/or other workflow management systems (e.g., Snakemake, WDL).
- Experience writing, running, or modifying bioinformatics pipelines in an academic or professional setting.
- Comfortable working in a Linux command-line environment and with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Curious and eager to learn more about cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong communication skills - able to explain technical concepts to a range of users.
- Enjoys solving problems, helping others, and being part of a collaborative team.
