We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Stack Developer with Domain Knowledge in Geofencing to join our dynamic Device Intelligence team. This role will contribute to the development and maintenance of our Android, iOS, and JavaScript SDKs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full-stack development, with a critical focus on domain knowledge related to geographical boundary systems, particularly within the US context.
This role will report to the Engineering Manager, Device Intelligence.
This role offers flexibility and can be remote or based in our Budapest office with a hybrid schedule of being in the office approximately three days per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for our Device Intelligence product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance and quality of our components.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
WHAT YOU’ll BRING:
- Extensive domain knowledge in geographical boundary systems, with a strong preference for experience relevant to the US market.
- Proven experience working with or integrating advanced location-based services, including those involving precise boundary definition and detection.
- Understanding of the complexities and challenges associated with accurate and reliable geographical boundary implementation in real-world applications.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Android development (Kotlin/Java), iOS development (Swift/Objective-C), or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
- Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Experience with database technologies such as Redis, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git (GitHub).
- Passion for experimenting with and integrating AI tools and models into development workflows.
