We are Semios, a company born from the belief that there's a better way to help farmers leverage technology for more sustainable and productive agriculture. Our journey began in 2010 with a clear mission: to simplify the grower's experience by providing an all-in-one crop management platform for tree fruit, nuts, and vines. We empower growers by transforming critical data from the field—covering weather, pest pressure, water management, and plant stress—into actionable insights. This allows for informed decisions to be made at precisely the right time, ultimately helping to produce a better crop while saving valuable time and resources. Our Precision Agriculture As A Service® means we handle the complexities of technology, from installation and maintenance to remote monitoring and support, so our growers can focus on what they do best: farming.

At our core, we're dedicated to helping nature feed a growing global population more sustainably. We achieve this by deploying an extensive in-orchard IoT wireless network, coupled with advanced machine learning and big data analytics. This powerful combination allows us to help growers predict and manage insect and disease pests more effectively, monitor and mitigate weather-related risks like frost, optimize water usage, and respond to plant health conditions in real-time. We're proud that our systems monitor farm conditions day and night, ensuring that the vital information our growers need is always accessible. Recently, Semios, along with our acquired companies Agworld, Altrac, and Centricity, has unified under a new brand, Almanac. This evolution reflects our expanded capabilities and our continued commitment to providing comprehensive, data-driven solutions that respect the wisdom of farmers and the land. Our goal remains to reduce the environmental burden of farming and enhance profitability for the hardworking individuals who feed the world.
