The journey of ScribeConcepts began in 2003, born from the vision of its founder, Christopher Brasted. What started as a solo venture, with Chris as the sole employee creatively leveraging a global network of consultants, has since blossomed into a significant force in the publishing industry. For nearly two decades, Chris meticulously built the company's reputation, focusing on designing intuitive and elegant workflows for creative teams across print and online news, multi-channel catalogs, and educational book publishing. The core mission was always to streamline the creative cycle, ensuring projects were delivered on time and within budget, all while nurturing creative talent. This foundational period established ScribeConcepts as a leader in education publishing, known for its innovative and systematic approach to complex production challenges.

A pivotal and unexpected shift occurred in 2023 with the passing of the founder. Jody Knowles, Chris's wife and partner in many ventures, stepped into the role of CEO, inheriting a profound legacy and a company at a critical juncture. This transition marked a new chapter for ScribeConcepts. While honoring the company's 20-year history, the leadership recognized that the strategies of the past needed to evolve to fuel future growth. Under new guidance, the company has not only weathered this significant change but has thrived, experiencing remarkable revenue growth. Now a woman-owned small business, ScribeConcepts continues its mission to make learning effortlessly accessible. It stands as a trusted partner for educational organizations and curriculum developers, providing end-to-end project support with a dedicated team of project managers, content developers, editors, and designers all working in concert to bring educational visions to life with precision and exceptional service.
