RoleSummary
TheSales Assistant is a key support role at Evergreen, responsible for managinglead flow, preparing high-quality technical proposals, and ensuring a smoothtransition of projects to the Operations team. This role focuses on maintainingthe accuracy of "The Brain" (Hubspot) and ensuring that all potentialcustomers receive professional, timely communication throughout the salesfunnel.
KeyResponsibilities
LeadManagement & Proposal Support
- Renewable Lead Management:Receive and manageleads from Evergreen's lead platforms, ensuring all details are correctlyinputted into Hubspot to maximise every opportunity.
- Proposals:Create proposals using OpenSolar ready fordesigning by Sales lead
- Quality & Submission:Review all proposalsfor accuracy and ensure they are submitted to leads within agreed timeframes.
- Pipeline Flow:Proactively follow up with customers multipletimes after a proposal has been sent to maintain sales momentum.
OperationsHandover
- System Transfer:Review accepted proposals and facilitate thehandover to the Operations team for delivery.
- Workflow Execution:Execute the synchronisation of dataacross platforms: OpenSolar Quote → Simpro Quote → Simpro Job.
- Data Integrity:Ensure all site requirements, client notes,and signed contracts are accurately reflected in Simpro before a job isscheduled.
Administration& Coordination
- General Sales Support:Provide administrative support to thesales team, maintaining high standards of documentation accuracy.
- Process Compliance:Ensure all tasks are performed inaccordance with Evergreen’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) documented inScribe.
- Stakeholder Liaison:Liaise with Evergreen's marketing andsenior management to provide updates on lead conversions and partnershipopportunities.
Client& Lead Communication
- Omnichannel Communication:Utilise Podium tocommunicate with leads via SMS and webchat for proposal follow-ups and generalenquiries.
- Professional Rapport:Demonstrate high-level interpersonalcommunication skills to build professional rapport with both internal teams andexternal customers.
Knowledge,Skills, and Experience
- Exceptionalattention to detail and data management skills.
- Strongwritten and verbal communication skills in English (AUS).
- Abilityto manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experiencein sales support or technical administration within the renewable energy sectoris highly desirable.
