Position Summary
As Sales Director, you will oversee all revenue-generating functions within the company. You’ll lead and grow our distributed sales team, guide regional sales managers, and set the strategic direction for outbound sales, appointments, lead nurturing, and deal-closing operations. This is a senior leadership role ideal for someone who has built and scaled a high-performance remote sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Design and implement company-wide sales plans to hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Oversee the activities and performance of Sales Managers and the Setter Team Manager.
- Define, track, and optimize KPIs across the sales funnel, including lead conversion, appointment show-up, and closing rates.
Team Development
- Hire, train, and manage high-performing sales talent (closers, managers, and setters).
- Implement structured onboarding and ongoing coaching programs.
- Create career growth plans and lead performance reviews.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with Marketing to optimize campaigns, funnels, and messaging.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth post-sale transitions.
- Report directly to the executive team with accurate forecasting and performance analysis.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience (preferably in virtual staffing or SaaS).
- Demonstrated success managing and scaling remote teams across multiple time zones.
- Deep familiarity with HubSpot CRM, Kixie, and Zoom sales environments.
- Strategic mindset with strong execution and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
