Job Description

As a Technical Reporting Coordinator in Scalable Capital’s growing Data Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely submission of (regulatory) reports while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather, analyse and validate data for reporting purposes. You will be a go-to person for technical reporting questions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commitment to regulatory excellence while gaining valuable experience in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of our great Data Engineering team responsible for Scalable’s central regulatory data platform
• Coordinate engineering initiatives around the big topic of reporting
• Evaluate the feasibility of data ingestion and processing as well as tool interfaces
• Analyse data via SQL
• Provide and maintain documentation related to reporting solutions and respective data models
• Manage and understand data sources relevant for regulatory reporting
• Work closely with other data and engineering teams to gather, validate and reconcile data required for reporting purposes
• Develop and communicate guidelines related to reporting and documentation standards
• Understand changes in regulatory requirements and drive communication in engineering teams
• Be an expert for reporting use cases
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and be a technical go-to person for regulatory reporting questions
• Drive stakeholder alignments across departments (Product, Engineering, Finance …) to release smart reporting solutions
• Share your expert knowledge about data & reporting best practices within the company
• Proactively identify and mitigate associated risks with regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and guidelines
• Coordinate and drive technical decisions related to reporting including various stakeholders across departments

Qualifications

• University degree in business or technical field: business administration, economics, finance, computer science, mathematics or similar
• Experience in Finance or Fintech industry
• Experience in handling financial data and familiarity with usage of databases
• Good project management and stakeholder management skills
• Technical understanding and basic skills in SQL
• Business understanding of numbers and analytics skills
• Attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise simultaneously
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
• Sense of humour and positive outlook on life
