Saint Luke's in Kansas City is seeking a Strategist Sponsorship and Events position to support the MarCom department, assisting in the planning and execution of sponsorships and events in the West region of BJC Health System
This position is remote within the KC Metro
The Shift: Full Time- Requires some evening and weekend availability
Responsibilities:
Provides strategic insight to identify, plan, execute and measure community and/or employee-facing events that support goals of community engagement, business development, education, prevention, and/or employee appreciation and recognition.
Partner with community and hospital leaders and key constituents to identify event opportunities that promote key client services and community outreach objectives.
Oversees promotion of employee or community events, identifies new event opportunities, and measures success and evolution of current events activities.
Coordinates vendors and staff; plans programming, activations, and oversees other special services and on-site logistics, and client representation at events, including communication with event attendees, and collection of external prospects for marketing database; assist with preparing accomplishment reports and presentations that measure event success.
Assists senior team leadership in supporting external vendor relationships and deliverables relative to community and/or employee events and activities.
Coordinates events and outreach activities that serve the region’s mission and objectives.
Adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals
Advanced in field, independent professional but benefits from guidance and feedback at times, critical thinker and problem solver, good communication and soft skills
To be successful in this role, you will need prior event coordinating experience, superb attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
