Saga's story began in 2024, born from a vision to bridge the gap between traditional legal practice and the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence. Founded by Bosse Langaas and Remco Visser, a team of executives with deep roots in both law firms and legal technology across Norway and the Netherlands, the company set out with a distinct philosophy: to build a 'lawyer-centric' AI platform. Rather than aiming to replace legal professionals, Saga was designed to augment their capabilities, placing human expertise at the heart of technological innovation.

What started as a bootstrapped initiative quickly gained traction, launching commercially in late 2024 and securing over 150 customers across Europe within its first year. The platform distinguishes itself by offering transparent AI assistants, agentic workflows, and deep integration with tools lawyers already use, such as Microsoft Word. By late 2025, Saga had raised over €1.5 million in seed funding to fuel its international expansion, solidifying its position as a rising star in the European legal tech landscape. Today, Saga continues to empower legal teams to work faster and with greater precision, ensuring that the future of law remains human-led but AI-enabled.
