Job Overview

We're looking for a strategic, detail-driven paralegal to own affirmative USCIS cases end-to-end — from client intake through filing — while leading a dedicated production team. You'll serve as primary case manager and team lead, partnering directly with Production Attorneys on strategy and ensuring every filing meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management & Strategy Serve as the primary case manager for humanitarian, family-based, and naturalization matters. Partner with Production Attorneys on case strategy and issue resolution. Handle complex, sensitive client conversations covering immigration history, risks, and next steps.
  • Review & Quality Control Audit cases for SOP compliance before filing. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and USCIS-compliant. Maintain firm-level quality standards across every filing.
  • Team Leadership Lead, guide, and support a three-person production team. Assign and monitor tasks per documented workflows, provide ongoing feedback, and proactively rebalance workloads to hit deadlines.
  • Deadlines & Filing Goals Maintain 100% adherence to USCIS filing and response deadlines. Meet weekly and monthly filing targets and identify bottlenecks before they impact case timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of paralegal experience in immigration law, with hands-on USCIS filing experience
  • Familiarity with humanitarian, family-based, or naturalization cases
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in high-volume environments
  • Comfortable leading others and managing competing deadlines
  • Experience with immigration case management software
