Reverion builds reversible power-plant systems that support a 100% renewable, reliable energy supply. The company focuses on next-generation ‘climate positive power’ using biogas and renewable energy to create flexible electricity and energy storage while reducing greenhouse-gas emissions. Reverion’s approach combines power generation and energy storage in one containerized, plug-and-play standard unit designed for mass manufacturing. It also integrates carbon capture so the process can operate with a negative CO2 balance, enabling carbon-negative power generation from biogas.

Reverion positions its technology as a high-efficiency alternative to conventional biogas utilization. Its reversible systems are designed to reach up to 80% efficiency for electricity conversion and provide flexibility through reversible operation for converting and storing energy in forms such as renewable gases and hydrogen during periods of surplus renewables. As a spin-off from TU Munich, Reverion aims to accelerate the energy transition with scalable fuel-cell-based systems that can be deployed at biogas sites and industrial contexts.
