What is a “Resooma”? Good question
The short answer: Resooma is an early-stage London-based tech startup on a mission to simplify renting homes for you, the renter!
The slightly longer answer: Resooma is a very small team with some very big goals. We’re great at creating simple tech to solve complex rental issues, no experience needed. We currently enable renters to setup & manage utility bills through the platform (this will be your area of focus) and have some very exciting property finding tech coming later this year

What will you be doing?
- Customer whisperer: Engage with eager potential customers. They're already curious about Resooma, and you'll be there to guide them through setting up their bills. You will utilise email, Whatsapp, LinkedIn and calls (no cold calling)
- Utility maestro: You will become a guru of utility bills. We provide the know-how, you provide the charm, assisting customers with insightful advice
- Journey companion: From the first "hello" to the final onboarding steps, ensure every customer feels valued and understood. We’re hear to make their lives easier at every interaction
- Brand ambassador: Master the art of conveying Resooma's core benefits in a manner that's both digestible and delightful
- Team collaborator: Work hand-in-hand with our marketing and community team members, infusing your insights into how Resooma can better captivate and convert our audience
- Goal getter: Embrace and excel in a target-driven environment. We're on a fast track to big things, and we need a teammate who's as driven and competitive as we are
- Continuous learning: There’s no time for standing still in this role. You'll be equipped with the tools and opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge, ensuring you're always at the forefront customer needs
Super useful things to have under your belt…but not all necessary:
- Exemplary communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Customer facing experience in sales, retail or promotional activity
- University degree level education preferred but not essential
- Enthusiasm, passion and ambition are must-haves
- Experience using CRM system to manage sales prospects (ideally Hubspot CRM) is preferred
Will I be all alone?
Oh hell no. We maybe a small team but our founders have 10+ years experience in sales & marketing so you will be well instructed to ensure that you know exactly what you need to do and when you need to do it. Everyone in the team regularly shares knowledge on their own work so each of us can continuously learn and develop
Expect daily team catch ups, weekly 1:1s and plenty of workshop sessions so you can create the best possible content for renters

🇬🇧 Do I need to be based in London? Nope. We support a remote way of working so your location is not important, just your ability to deliver. You must however be based in the UK and able to visit our HQ in London for monthly catch ups as a team so you can put a face to the Zoom call persona.

🎯 What have the biggest challenges been so far and what’s next?
Resooma’s biggest challenge is finding the right partners to plugin for our customers. We’ve had a tough two years as we hadn’t got the utility providers right which created major issues with customer support but where there are issues there are learnings. We have new utility providers supporting us from early 2024 which we think will be the perfect fit and are now searching for the right partners across property, insurances and other areas of renting to get them streamlined
💻 What level of experience should I have?
We anticipate that the ideal candidate will have some prior experience within telephone sales or face-to-face promotional activity. We’re not looking for a seasoned veteran
📅 What is the estimated start date?
Role to start mid-late March
💷 What is the basic salary?
£20,000-£25,000 (depending on experience) + Comission (£35,000 OTE)
