Junior Technical Writer - Medical Device Labelling (12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Sydney | Remote

We’re looking for a technically minded, self-driven leader to join our Labelling team and play a pivotal role in our Medical Device Regulations project. If you’re an experienced Technical Writer who thrives on complex documentation, process improvement, and guiding others, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end development, publishing, and release of high-quality, compliant technical product documentation

• Ensure all content aligns with ResMed’s standards, processes, and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and validate technical information

• Contribute to content governance, style guide improvements, and tooling best practices

• Identify opportunities to streamline documentation workflows through AI or automation tools

Let’s talk about you:

• 2+ years of hands-on technical writing experience, preferably in regulated industries (medical device, electronics, or similar)

• Strong technical acumen and a process-oriented mindset

• Proficiency in XML-based CMS platforms, with demonstrated experience using tools like Adobe AEM, Adobe Workfront, InDesign, Acrobat, and JIRA/Confluence

• Understanding of how to leverage AI and modern tools to improve documentation efficiency and quality

• Self-motivated and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Preferred:

• Experience with translation/localisation workflows

• Background in high-volume manufacturing or medical device labelling

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
