The Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft is a leading think tank that challenges the longstanding U.S. foreign policy orientation towards militarism and endless war. Our customers face the challenge of an increasingly complex international landscape where military solutions have often resulted in instability and conflict. This is why we advocate for a transformation in the approach to U.S. foreign relations, emphasizing military restraint and diplomacy.

We exist not just to critique existing policies but to actively promote ideas that redirect U.S. policy towards a more peaceful engagement with global partners. Our research highlights the dangers of an overly militarized former strategy and presents alternatives that prioritize dialogue and cooperation over conflict. By mobilizing a network of policy experts and academics, we aim to increase our influence on lawmakers and grassroots organizations alike, contributing to a healthier and more constructive debate around national security issues.
