Analytica is seeking motivated students and early-career professionals to join our 2027 Summer Associate Internship Program an open opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple functional areas of the organization.

Interns will be placed on teams aligned with their academic background, interests, and business needs. Participants will contribute to meaningful projects, gain exposure to industry tools and practices, and develop professional skills in a collaborative environment.

This internship program supports career exploration across both technical and business disciplines, offering real-world experience supporting operational, analytical, and strategic initiatives.

Potential Internship Tracks

Interns may be aligned to one of the following areas:

Data Science Intern

  • Assist with data analysis, modeling, and exploratory data analysis
  • Support development of machine learning or statistical models
  • Prepare datasets for analysis and validation
  • Create dashboards, visualizations, and analytical summaries
  • Document methodologies and findings for stakeholders

Data Engineering Intern

  • Support development and maintenance of data pipelines
  • Assist with data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows
  • Work with cloud or database technologies to manage datasets
  • Help improve data quality, governance, and automation processes
  • Participate in DataOps or ETL/ELT activities

Finance Intern

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities
  • Support financial analysis and cost tracking
  • Help prepare financial documentation and presentations
  • Analyze operational or program financial data
  • Support internal reporting and process improvements

Contracts / Business Operations Intern

  • Assist with contract administration and documentation tracking
  • Support proposal preparation and compliance activities
  • Help maintain contract records and reporting artifacts
  • Participate in process documentation and workflow improvements
  • Support coordination between legal, finance, and program teams

Human Resources Intern

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent management activities
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks, record keeping, and reporting
  • Participate in employee engagement, training, or development initiatives
  • Help prepare HR communications, presentations, or surveys
  • Support HR process improvement and cross-functional projects

Core Responsibilities

Regardless of placement, interns will:

  • Support ongoing projects and operational initiatives
  • Conduct research, analysis, and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in meetings and team planning sessions
  • Deliver assigned tasks within established timelines
  • Learn organizational tools, systems, and best practices
  • Present internship outcomes or project learnings (if applicable)

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree
  • Strong interest in learning and professional development
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

(Varies by internship track)
  • Data Science: Python, R, statistics, machine learning coursework
  • Data Engineering: SQL, databases, cloud platforms, or scripting experience
  • Finance: Accounting, finance, or economics coursework
  • Contracts / Business Operations: Business, legal studies, public administration, or related field
  • HR: Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related coursework
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working on team projects
